Mir Ceramic Limited is one of largest and most trusted tiles manufacturers in Bangladesh. Our founder, Mir Nasir Hossain is a leading business figure of Bangladesh and former president of FBCCI. He established Mir Ceramic in 2001 with a clear objective: To make the strongest and longest lasting tiles in Bangladesh.
Since its inception, Mir Ceramics has utilized manufacturing equipment from SACMI (Italy), widely acknowledged as the best ceramics manufacturing equipment provider in the world. Mir secures the highest quality raw materials from across the world, including Spain, Italy, Malaysia and Thailand. MCL has also assembled an expert production team, with decades of experience in the industry, to oversee manufacturing. As a result, Mir Ceramics produces tiles with the highest bending strength and lowest water absorption, across a number of tiles categories, in Bangladesh. Consistently producing superior quality tiles for over so many years has helped establish Mir as a dominant player in the upscale tiles market in Bangladesh.
Mir Ceramics is a proud member of Mir Group of Companies, one of the oldest and most highly reputed conglomerates in Bangladesh. Mir Group began its journey in 1968 as Mir Akhter Hossain Limited (MAH), the iconic construction company. Mir Nasir Hossain
Managing Director
Mir Nasir Hossain is a prominent entrepreneur who has had significant impact in the construction, real estate, ceramics, banking, telecom and information technology sectors of our country. He has served as Presidentof the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the apex trade organization of the country. He also held the positions of Senior Vice President of South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). He is also Director of Eastern Bank Limited (EBL).
As managing Director of Mir Telecom, Mir Nasir Hossain has accepted the National Export Trophy from the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh on multiple occasions. He is also Managing Director of Mir Akhter Hossain limited, the foremost construction company in Bangladesh. Over the years, he has overseen the construction of some of the most iconic landmarks and most critical infrastructure projects in the history of the nation. He is also engaged in the management of Bangla Telecom Ltd., Mir Holdings Ltd., Coloasia Ltd. and BTS Communications Ltd., amongst others.
He is actively engaged in various social activities, most notable of which is his Life Membership of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and Bangladesh Diabetic Association. He is working as the President of Faridpur Diabetic Association and the Chairman of the Governing Body of Faridpur Diabetic Association Medical College.
Ruslan Nasir
Deputy Managing Director
Ruslan Nasir is the Deputy Managing Director of Mir Ceramic limited. He is also the Director of Mir Telecom Group, which includes Mir Telecom Ltd., Bangla Telecom Ltd., Coloasia Ltd., and BTS Communications Ltd. Mir Telecom Ltd. has been awarded the National Export Trophy (Gold) on multiple occasions.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, and a Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. His area of expertise are engineering, finance, business management& operations, and has previously worked in the telecommunications and banking sectors.
Ruslan is currently serving as Director on the board of Bangladesh Ceramics Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCMEA).
Mahreen Nasir
Director
Mahreen Nasir is Director of Mir Ceramic limited. She is also the Director of Mir Telecom Group, which includes Mir Telecom Ltd., Bangla Telecom Ltd., Coloasia Ltd., and BTS Communications Ltd. Mir Telecom Ltd. has been awarded the National Export Trophy (Gold) on multiple occasions.
She holds a Masters in Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Major in Telecommunications, from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec. She completed her Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Dhaka.
A rising prominent figure and role model of female entrepreneurial spirit in the business community of Bangladesh, Mahreen was recognized as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) by the Government of Bangladesh in 2017.

Mir Akhter Hossain Ltd
Mir Group of Companies is one of the oldest and most highly reputed group of companies in Bangladesh. The Group began its journey in 1968as Mir Akhter Hossain Limited (MAH). MAH is one of the largest construction companies in Bangladesh, boasting a number of prestigious projects such as the construction of Cox’s Bazar International Airport Runway, Sylhet International Airport Runway, Radisson Blue Hotel, Sheraton Hotel (2nd building), Dhaka-Tangail Highway, Dhaka Sirajganj Highway, Pabna-Dhalarchor Railway and many more.
Mir Holdings Limited
In 1999, Mir Group established Mir Holdings Limited, a property development company to capitalize on the housing boom in Bangladesh. The company focused on developing apartments in upscale neighborhoods in the capital and successfully carved out a niche for itself.
Mir Telecom Limited
In 2008, Mir Group capitalized on government deregulation in the telecom sector and secured an International Gateway Operator License (IGW) as Mir Telecom Limited (MTL). Under the IGW license, Mir Telecom could provide routes for international calls into and out of Bangladesh, thus entering the highly lucrative International Voice Business. By providing exceptional call quality and industry leading customer service, MTL established itself as a dominant player in the industry. Mir Telecom has received 3 National Export Trophies (Gold) from The Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
Bangla Telecom Limited
Mir secured an Interconnection Exchange (ICX) license under the name Bangla Telecom Limited in 2010. The license allowed Mir to provide routes for calls between IGWs and local cell phone service providers, as well as between the various cell phone service providers themselves. This perfectly complemented Mir’s IGW business and allowed Mir to enter the license-secured and lucrative ICX business.
ColoAsia Limited
ColoAsia has recently emerged as First commercial Tier – 3 certified 1st class Data center in Bangladesh with a commitment of 99.99% uptime and point of point of interconnection in the most prime location of Dhaka. Equipped with most modern equipment, uninterrupted robust power arrangement and round-the-clock attendance makes ColoAsia an ideal venue for telecom operators, banks and other financial institutions, now we have 6 locations across Bangladesh. In 2019, Coloasia also began offering ISO – 27001 Security certified Cloud Computing services in Bangladesh.
BTS Communication (BD) Ltd.
BTS Communication (BD) Ltd. (Brand name- Mirnet)was established in 1998 and is licensed by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to provide Nationwide Internet & Data communication services. BTS has established extensive network coverage across the country to provide bandwidth. By designing the network using a ring network, BTS has eliminated the risk of service interruptions to the majority of the network, ensuring that mission critical services remain uninterrupted for our clients. This has helped BTS become the partner of choice for corporate clients such as banks, airlines, hospitals, etc. Over the years, BTS has diversified and currently offers a variety of ICT services through its network.
